4 cups of coffee a day lowers the risk of diabetes by 1/4

Swiss scientists announced that drinking 4 cups of coffee a day reduces the risk of type 2 diabetes by 25%.

During the study, the researchers found that each subsequent cup of coffee after the first reduced the risk of developing diabetes by 7-8%.

Based on these results, health experts recommend for preventive purposes drinking 4 cups of coffee daily.

At the same time, this is a relatively large amount, and higher doses of caffeine are harmful to the whole organism.

Nevertheless, the other aromatic compounds in coffee activate metabolism in the body and thus reduce the risk of developing diabetes.

Specifically, this effect is due to chlorogenic acid, which is contained in the aromatic caffeinated drink. This compound, firstly, helps to prevent obesity and secondly, to normalize blood sugar.

It is precisely for this reason that it is recommended as a preventive measure, to drink coffee without caffeine. However, doctors remind not to neglect the traditional methods of prevention – proper nutrition and a healthy lifestyle.

In addition to coffee, chlorogenic acid is also found in some fruits and vegetables such as apples, tomatoes, pears, tomatoes and blueberries.

It should be borne in mind that caffeine has the maximum beneficial effect on a person in the middle of the day – between 12 and 2 p.m. Naturally, this effect applies to natural, not instant coffee.

The debate about whether it is possible and safe to drink coffee with diabetes has not stopped.

One cup of juice should be diluted with 3 times water.
