For the treatment and prevention of this disease, it is necessary to use such foods that prevent the formation of oxalic acids. It is because of this that chemical compounds called oxalates are formed. They form insoluble stones.

To avoid the occurrence of nephrolithiasis or to treat it, it is necessary to consume foods with a diuretic effect, such as:

• Fruits – cherries, pineapple, cherry, blueberry, blackberry, plum, mango, watermelon, apple, quince, pear, pomegranate and its juice, lemon, dogwood, apple, blackcurrant, strawberries and raspberries.

• Vegetables – turnip, pumpkin, zucchini, cucumbers, potatoes;

• Porridge from buckwheat, barley, oats, rice, barley, corn and millet;

• Dried fruits – raisins;

• Meat – rabbit, chicken and beef;

• Bread – rye or whole grain, derived from flour of a lower grade;

Folk remedies for the treatment of kidney stone disease
