Seven natural recipes for tight skin
Nature has enough resources that help us maintain healthy, tight and radiant skin without using cosmetics with chemicals. Here are the seven most popular natural recipes for keeping skin glowing.
1. Egg white
Egg whites are a natural firming product and one of the best solutions against sagging skin. This is due to the hydrolipids that are contained in the protein. To make a mask, whip 1-2 egg whites into a foam, apply them to the face and neck and after 20 minutes wash off with lukewarm water. You can also add a spoonful of yogurt to the beaten egg white. Both masks are recommended to be used twice a week.
2. Honey
Honey is among the most useful means for glowing skin – it protects it from dehydration and aging, and acts as an antioxidant. Mix 2-3 tablespoons of honey and a few drops of lemon juice and olive oil. Apply to face and neck, let dry and wash with warm water afterwards. It is good to use this mask at least once a day to get good results.
You can combine half a tablespoon each of honey and cream, mixed with half a teaspoon of turmeric powder. Apply the mixture on your face for 15 minutes, wash off with lukewarm water and splash with cold water. This mask is recommended once a week.
3. Aloe Vera
The aloe vera plant is excellent for tightening loose skin. The malic acid in aloe improves the elasticity of the skin and prevents it from sagging. Aloe also acts as a natural cream. It is obtained by separating the juice of the plant from the leaves and applying it directly to the face. Leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water.
Another possibility is to combine one tablespoon of aloe vera and one teaspoon of mayonnaise and honey. Apply to face and neck for 15 minutes. Wash with warm water and splash with cold water afterwards.
4. Lemon
Vitamin C in lemons stimulates the formation of collagen, thus restoring the skin’s elasticity. Lemon also has astringent properties that reduce wrinkles and delay premature aging.
Fresh lemon juice is gently rubbed all over the face and neck. Wash off after 5 to 10 minutes. If you squeeze a few drops of lemon into a glass of lukewarm water, you can use the liquid as a lotion, letting it dry on the skin.
5. Cucumber
Cucumber can be used for loose skin. It is one of the best natural tonics that helps in its recovery. Grind half a cucumber and strain the juice. Apply it all over your face and wait for it to dry. Only then wash off with cold water. Do this every day.
If you mix one tablespoon of cucumber and yogurt and use as a mask, you will also enjoy healthy and radiant skin. Another recipe is to mix two tablespoons of cucumber juice, one egg white and 3-5 drops of vitamin E. Apply to the face and neck, leave for 15 minutes and wash with lukewarm water.
6. Rose water
Rose water is a natural astringent, so it is extremely good as a facial toner. It also has a striking effect on skin radiance. Put the water on your face and neck before going to sleep. This helps to shrink pores and counteracts premature aging.
Another alternative is to mix a teaspoon of lemon juice and witch hazel with five drops of almond oil in a glass of rose water. Apply to the face and neck, leave for 20 minutes and wash.
7. Olive oil and oils
Your sagging skin can become fresh and smooth by simply massaging your face and neck with olive oil. Olive oil has anti-aging antioxidants and vitamins A and E.
Warm slightly extra virgin olive oil and gently massage the face with circular movements for 10 minutes. Do this every day before going to bed. Other suitable oils for facial massage are avocado, coconut, grape seed, jojoba or almond oil.
