Canadian tips for a beautiful body

Many scientific studies are being conducted in Canada on the issue of proper nutrition. The reason is that ⅔ of the country’s population suffers from obesity. Here are some key tips to help you stay away from such statistics.

1. Satisfy your thirst with water and not with food – a serious problem of modern people is that they are not in the habit of drinking water throughout the day. And very often they confuse thirst with hunger. And this is not good at all.

The body needs fluids, and if you take food instead, then the water deficit is even more severe. Therefore, the next time you feel hungry, first drink a glass of water, and after twenty minutes, if you are still hungry – bon appetit.

2. Skip the unhealthy snacks– if you haven’t already done so, completely stop eating cookies, waffles, cakes, chips and more. It’s a terrific source of calories, and that alone can help you shed a few pounds.

3. Make sure that half of your meals for the day consist of grains – oats, seeds, whole grain bread, brown rice and others. This will increase the amount of fiber you take in and keep you feeling full for longer. If you haven’t already, try quinoa.

4. Fat-free foods should become your habit – fat has twice as many calories as carbohydrates or proteins. Choose milk and yogurt with less than 2% fat content.

A good way to avoid extra fat is to skip the extra sauces and cut the visible fat from the meat.

5. Include meat alternatives in your menu more often – beans, lentils, tofu – they all contain a lot of protein, but no fat.

6. Fruits and vegetables – like all nutritionists, Canadian nutritionists advise to include as many fruits and vegetables as possible in our menu.

In order not to be burdened with unnecessary information about how many vitamins and calories there are, it is best to remember the golden rule in colors – dark green and orange fruits and vegetables are always the healthiest and most -rich in nutrients.

7. Get moving– remember that even if you lose weight, your body won’t get better until you start moving or exercising. Yes, it will be thin, but flabby and unattractive. So if you want to look good, take every opportunity to walk around and get some exercise.
